Nanticoke Valley Historical Society Meetings:
When: The third Monday of February - November. 7PM
Where: The Nanticoke Valley Museum, Nanticoke Road, Maine, NY unless otherwise noted.  Please note meeting details below.


Area school students visit the museum to learn more about how various tasks were accomplished and how people lived in the past. About one thousand students visit each year. Call Sandy Rozek for openings.

May 14th as part of New York State's Heritage Weekend our Buildings will be open 12 -4 PM

Call Sue Lisk at 862 - 9705 to volunteer.


The Hamlet of Maine, NY celebrated its 150th birthday during 1998.  Refer to centennial for a summary of events of that week end. Smaller events began in April and took place during the year.
