A MESSAGE FROM THE EXALTED RULER

Brothers And Sisters In Elkdom,

Thank you for the honor of serving the lodge as Exalted Ruler and for the terrific support our lodge has enjoyed throughout this year. The officers, committee people, and volunteers all did their parts, it all came together and the lodge practically ran itself, thanks.  Johnson City is blessed with a talented and involved membership, the lodge is doing well and will continue to do well under the guidance of incoming Exalted Ruler Alicia Beck and the new slate of officers and committee chairs. Alicia has worked diligently for our lodge and Elkdom, let's work with Alicia and her team to have a great Elk year.  

To the members that were initiated this year, please become involved, we need your energy and ideas to continue moving forward. Please attend lodge meetings, visit other lodges, attend DD clinics, attend state conventions and propose new members. Understand what the Elk programs are and what your new slate of officers is trying to accomplish then step up and help. That is what it's all about - ELKS CARE, ELKS SHARE.

DUES INFORMATION We're rapidly approaching the end of March, which is the end of the Elks fiscal year. That means that your 2006-2007 dues are due by April 1, 2006. The dues this year break out as follows: JC Lodge Dues $40.00 Grand Lodge Assessments $11.50 NYSEA Assessents $ 1.25 Total $52.75 Please send a check to the lodge as soon as possible so that your new membership card can be issued. If you are a member of the 2821 Club, your dues will be paid during February. Once your 2006-2007 dues are paid you will be able to join the 2821 Club for your 2007-2008 dues. While paying your dues it is a good time to make an annual donation to our favorite Elks charities. Suggested donations are: ENF $10.00 NYSEA Major Projects $ 8.00 JC Elks Building Fund $25.00 JC Elks General Fund $25.00 Any and all donations are gratefully appreciated.

Our WSKG Evening is FRIDAY, MARCH 24 from 9pm - midnight.
