A Message from the Exalted Ruler

Brothers and Sisters in Elkdom,

Once again we can be proud in knowing that "ELKS CARE - ELKS SHARE", at every level we are stepping forward to help. The total donations of Elkdom towards hurricane relief efforts has reached three quarters of a million dollars. The Elks National organization has agreed to extend our support to the victims of Wilma in South Florida and will be helping people throughout all the effected areas.

By request of New York State Elks Association President Tim Kelly, toys were collected in all 17 districts of our state. Hundreds of toys were delivered to those families whose lives were completely disrupted by the tragic storms.

December saw our lodge continue in our good works, we again hosted the HCA group home Christmas celebration, donated towards the Clear Channels Children's Christmas Party, sang Christmas carols at the Oxford Veteran's home and remembered our departed members on Memorial Sunday. How can one not be proud to be part of such a wonderful Order?

Have a Healthy and Joyous New Year

Fraternally, Jim Sicignano
